Howdy y'all,
If you are working tomorrow you should be prepared for a few things.
First of all, watch that ticket printer. If you haven't gotten a ticket in a suspiciously long time it is likely that the printer may not be working. In the event of a ticket printer shutdown, check the kitchen to make sure those tickets weren't rerouted to their printer also please let the servers know so they can hand deliver their orders to you. Finally if at all possible try to keep track of the drinks you have already made so when the printer inevitably starts working you will have a better chance of not double-making those drinks.

We ran into a second challenge tonight as well. Occasionally the ticket printer will double print drink orders. Generally they seemed to print pretty close to each other so you will get a ticket, and then get the same ticket. Keep an eye out for this as well and if you catch a double-printed ticket, save it and give that ticket to a manager. They will be tracking the double prints in an effort to find the root of this issue and solve it for us.

The floor in the bar dry storage is getting redone tonight as well. Cheers to no more white floor dandruff flakes everywhere. The opening crew will need to move all of the shelves, wines, etc back into the storage room.

Be prepared for an overall busy day. Phantom Menace in 3D and The Vow are the two new movies of the week, Hugo is still selling out, as is Chronicle.

Update: Chase brought to my attention that we are running low on strawberry puree and there should be a pan of cookies in the walk-in that need to be crumbled.
