1/29 closing notes

Introducing: blog entries with photos!

First pic:
This is why we can't have nice things. I'm actually curious as to how this happened, as I know it must have been an accident.

Second pic: Our new shake wand!
Pros: it holds the tin and mixes the cream while you prepare a second shake. It doesn't spray you with cream as much as the old cow.
Cons: It only mixes the bottom half of the shake, and throws pecan porter and cider on your chest.

Basically, this is a temporary replacement. It is helpful because you can start a shake, and prepare another or even pour a pint while it does its thing, but it just doesn't mix as quickly as the old cow.

Third pic:
Is this something we want in the bar? While it does tell us which beer is higher than 8%, there are only four right now: yeti, maredsous, old chub, and primus. We should be able to remember that. Seeing a note that tells me what kind of glass to use makes me feel dumb. Can't we just remind each other what is a strong beer and thus requires a tulip glass?

I like the new six pack stocking system. Brian pointed out an obvious: we can stock bug and killer lite with recycled six packs. Soon, nothing will be horizontal. And that is the future.
