Alright, I'm just sayin.... Jimmie didn't slave over a hot keyboard and post exactly where all the beer goes just to have it spit upon like a cheap pirate hooker after the sailors leave port. In other words, PUT THE BEER WHERE IT GOES.
It looks like rotation is happening, and that is a positive. However, beer is getting put all over the place as well as boxes are still being half emptied and left in there. Obviously, stuff like Bud, Bud Light, Miller Lite and Ginger beers don't come in 6-packs, and that's fine. But everything else should be unpacked and placed in its appropriate spot immediately upon opening a new case.
The bigger issue: please use the chart outside the walk-in to put away new orders. This helps other bar tenders (and drink runnners, delivery guys, whomever) know where to find what they need and it really helps managers do inventory. Lately beer is getting put wherever there is an empty spot, and that is not ok. It will get overlooked, new boxes that don't need to be opened will be, extra cases will be ordered with no where to put them and future grumpy blog posts will emerge.
In sum - read the chart, put the beer away in the right spot, rejoice. Rinse, repeat.
Deuces.
Or else it gets the hose again.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the admin account login/password is on the first closing duties sheet in the bar book. Use that to update the 86/Specials list.
Also, I'm pretty sure this is getting done anyway but just in case it hasn't, date the deliveries.
